A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF-
ORNIA, SELLING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
AND AUTHORIZING A DEED THE'aREFOR.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Huntington Beach held on the
day of , 1944, certain lots were
offered for sal , and
WHEREAS, FRED C. HERVANN, a married man as
his separate property, bid the sum of Two Hundred
Twenty-five ($225.00) Dollars, for Lots Six (6)
and Eight (8) , Block Four Hundred Fourteen (414) ,
Seventeenth Street Section, as per map recorded in
Book 4, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that it is
for the best interest of said City that said bid
be accepted and said property be sold and returned
to the assessment role, and
WHEREAS, said price offered is Just, fair
and adequate and is not disportionate to the market
value of the above described real. property.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City
Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California,
that the above described property be and the same is

hereby sold to FRED C. HERMANN, a married man as
his separate property, free and clear of all
encumbrances, except subject to covenants, conditions,
reservations, restrictions and rights of way of record,
if any, for the total sum of Two Hundred Twenty-five
( 225.00) Dollars, and be it further resolved that
the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to execute and deliver a Deed to said
FRED C. HERBt,ANN, a married man as his separatd
property, upon receipt of the consideration therefor.
