A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY" OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF-
ORNIA, SELLING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
AND AUTHORIZING A DEED THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of .Huntington Beach held on the

-- - -- dayof , 1944, certain lots
were offered for sale, and
WHEREAS, ARTHUR J. JOHNSON and DIARY JOSEPHINE
JOHNSON, husband and wife, as Joint Tenants with the
Right of Survivorship, bid the sum of Three Hundred
( $300.00) Dollars, for Lots Ten (10) and Twelve (12) ,
Block Three Hundred Twelve (312) of "Huntington
Beach Tract" as shown on a map recorded in Book 3,

page 36 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that it is
for the best interest of said City that said bid
be accepted and said property be sold and returned
to the assessment role, and
WHEREAS, said price offered is just, fair
and adequate and is not disportionate to the market
value of the above described real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City
Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California,

that the above described property be and the same is
hereby sold to ARTHUR J. JOHNSON and MARY JOSEPHINE
JOHNSON, husband and wife, as Joint Tenants with the
Right of Survivorship, free and clear of all encum-
brances, except subject to covenants, conditions,
reservations, restrictions and rights of way of
record, if any, for the total sung of Three Hundred
( 300.00) Dollars, and be it further resolved that
the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to execute and deliver a Deed to said
ARTHUR J. JOHNSON and MARY JOSEPHINE JOHNSON,
husband and wife, as Joint Tenants with the Right
of Survivorship, upon receipt of the consideration
therefor.
