RESOLUTION .:NO.
A :RESOLUTION OF THE ';CITY COUINCIL
OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH,
CALIFORNIA.
The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, do resolve as follows**
Section 110 That the General Municipal Election,
to be held in the City of Huntington Beach, California,
on Tuesday, April 9, 1946, shall be :yield and conducted
pursuant to the folloval. ng ,provisions therefor, which
provisions are hereby determined and adopted by the
City Council of said City of Huntington Beach for
holding said. election.
Section 2: That at said election there shall
be four (4) voting precincts, consisting of a consolid-
ation of the regular election precincts last established
for holding general, state or county election, as follows:
Consolidated voting precinct "A", comprising
state and county election precincts numbers Huntington
Beach One and Two, and the polling place thereof shall
be in the Memorial Hall located on Sixth Street near
the intersection of Mlagnolia Avenue and Sixth Street
in said City.

Consolidated voting precinct "B" , comprising
state and county election precincts numbers Huntington
Beach "three and Four, and the polling place thereof shall
be at the Evangeline Hotel, located at 421 Eighth Street,
in said City.
Consolidated voting precinct t'C", comprising
state and county election precincts numbers Huntington
Beach Five and Six, and the polling place thereof shall
be at the Huntington Beach Elementary School, Athletic
Building, located at Sixteenth Street and Palm Avenue,
in said City.
Consolidated voting precinct IM", comprising
state and county election precincts numbers Huntington
Beach Seven and Eight, and the polling place thereof shall
be at Maggie Hallicyts wore located on the corner of
Frankfort Street and ,Alabama Avenue in said City.
Section 3; That the election board for consolidated
. voting precinct "All shall be as follows;

Section. 4: That said election officers shall
each receive as compensation for his services in
serving upon said election board the sum of even ( 7.00)

Section 5 That the polls will be open for
said election between the hours of 70*00 o 'clock A
and 7:00 o'clock P M.

Section 65 That each of said officers above
mentioned is an elector and a resident of the consol—
idated voting precinct for itiich he or she is appointed.
Section 7: That said election shall .in all
respects be conducted as provided by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach, California,, at a __ZgZUJAZ

1946.

California, and ex—officio Clerk of the City Council
