HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1040 RESOLUTION NO. 1440 a A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WORE-- MAN OR MECHANIC NEEDED IN THE RE-SURFACING .AND IMPROVEMENT OF FRANKFORT STREET IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hunt�- inton Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in this locality for workmen needed in the re- surfacing and improvement of Main Street in the City of Huntington Beach, and has considered evidence presented. Sundays and holidays (except watchmen, guards and flagmen) - one and one-half (lit) times the above rates, The rates per hour, indicated above are based up- on the local prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour. Hourly rates of pays based upon eight hours per day for a full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages for a fractional part .of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for ever- time and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays, 2- Reso.
