WHEREAS , at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington ;beach heed on the 'nth day of September, 1948, certain lots were offered for sale, and WHEREAS, DORCA.S DAVIS de JONG, an unmarried woman, bid the sum of rive Hundred ( 500.00) Dollars for the following described property situate in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly describes as follows-. Lent Seven (7) , in Block Three Hundred Twelve (312) of Huntington Beach Tract, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 3, page 36 of Miscellaneous Taps, records of Orange County, California, and -ITEREAS , the City Council deems that it is for the best interest of said City that said bid be accepted and said property be sold and returned to the assessment role, and WHEREAS , said price offered is just, fair and adequate and is not disproportionate to the market value of the above described real property® 1 Heso® No. 1062 T 01W THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntington. Beach, California, that the above described property be and the same is hereby sold to DORCAS DAVIS de TONG, an unmarried woman., Free and clear of all encumbrances , except subject to cov- enants, conditions, reservations, restrictions and rights of way of record, if any, for the total sum o Five Hundred ( 500.0Q) Dollars, and BE IT y'URT R HBSOrIED that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute and deliver a Deed to said DOHCAS DAVIS de JON€G, are unmarried woman., upon receipt of the consideration therefor.
