A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

OF THE CITY OF HUNTIAWGTON BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, SETTING RATE OR CITY
EMPLOYEE IN EXCESS OF THE MINIMUM.
WHEREAS , Lemuel H. Berry has been appointed Trailer
Park Superintendent of the City of Huntington Beach to take
effect as of May 1, 1949, and
WHEREAS , the qualification of education and experi-
ence of said Lemuel H. Berry so proposed to be employed
justifies a beginning salary in excess of the minimum
compensation provided by ordinance.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach does hereby resolve, determine and
declare that it is to the interest of the public that
the salary of said Lemuel H. Berry be set at step 3
of .Range 26 as per schedule of basic salary range as
adopted by Ordinance No. 535 of the City of Huntington
Beach, to take effect as of May 11 1949.
PASSED .AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
