HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1094 RESOLUTION NO. 1094 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WORK- MAN OR MECHANIC NEEDED IN THE RE-SURFACING OF MAGNOLIA AVE., ACACIA AVE., HUNTINGTON AVE., AND GENEVA STREET, IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH. NITEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general prevailing rate of per diem gages in this locality for workmen needed in the re- surfacing of Magnolia Avenue, Acacia Avenue, Huntington Avenue, and Geneva Street in the City of Huntington Beach, and has considered evidence presented. NOW TIfisREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council off the City of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that tke general prevailing rate of per diem wages in this locality for work- men needed in the re-surfacing of Magnolia Avenue, Acacia Avenue, Huntington Avenue, and Geneva Street within the City of Huntington Beach and the general prevailing rate of legal holiday ancYovertime work, is as follows: Per Diem Rates for Per Diem Hourly Nage Legal Holidays Trade or Occupation: Wage. The rates per hour, indicated above are based upon the local prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rates per hour. Hourly rates of pay, based upon eight hours per day for a full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages for a fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays.
