HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1116 RESOLUTION NO. 1116 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, CAN- VASSING THE RETURNS OF THE GENERAL LUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 11, 1950. WHEREAS, the City Council of the,City of Huntington Beach, California, did, by resolution duly and regularly adopted at a regular meeting of said Council call for and provide for the holding of the general municipal election within said City of Huntington Beach on the llth day of April, 1950, and WHEREAS, due notice of the holding of said general election has heretofore been given at the time and in the manner provided by law, NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, do hereby resolve, determine and declare as follows: Section l: (a) That the whole number cf votes cast in the City of Huntington Beach at said general election, including all absentee votes, is 2,097. (b) That the names of the persons voted for, the offices for which they were voted; the number of votes given in each precinct to each of said persons, together with the whole number of votes which said persons received in the entire City, are as follows; Names of Persons Precincts Total Voted for Office "A" "B" "C" "D" Votes Vernon E. Section 4: The City Clerk shall imaediately make and deliver to each of such persons elected a certification of election signed by him and duly authenticated.
