A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THN CITY
OF HUNTINGTON MCA, CALIFORNIAV FIXING THE
TAX RATE FOR SAID CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1950»1951.
TWEAS, the assessed valuation of the taxable property of the
City of Huntington Beachf California# as assessed by the City Assessor
and fixed by the Board of Equalisation of said City for the fiscal year
195051 is $34,ki35,855.E
!NHEHEAS, the City Council of said City of Huntington Beach
finds that the amount of soney necessary to be raised by taxation on
property in said City of Huntington Beach as a revenue for various
departments of said City for the current fiscal year and to pay bonded
and other indebtedness of the City of Huntington Beach# is as follows:

the City Council by Resolution No. 1089 net the tax
rate for the fiscal year 1949-1950 at one hundre& twenty cents ($1.20)
per one hundred dollars ($100*00) of assessed vajne, rich rate applies
to the unsecured roll for the fiscal year 1950-1951, and

11HERBAS, assessed value of the unsecured roll for the fiscal.
year 1950-51 as equalized by the Board of Rquali.zation of the City of
Huntington Beach amounts to a total of $3,045,470.001, and
WHEREAS, the balance necessary to be raised by taxation from
the secured roll for the fiscal year 1950-1951 is $382,950.50, and
WIHRFAS, a tax rate of one hundred twentywtwo cents ($142)
upon each one hundred dollars ($100e00) of assessed value of the
property in said City as assessed by the assessor and equalized by
the City Council sitting as a Board of Equalisation is sufficient to
raise the said amount of money.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beacht California$ that the rate of taxation for said
City for the fiscal year 1950-1951 (secured roll for 1950-1951 and
unsecured roll for 1951-1952) be fixed at one hundred twenty-tire
cents ($1.22) upon each one hundred dollars ($100*00) assessed value
in said City. The said rate shall be segregated as follows%
