, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has con!--
ducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general prevailing
rate of per dies wages in this locality for workmen needed in the resur-
facing and installation of concrete curbs on 17th Street is the City of
Huntington Beach and has considered evidence presented.
NOW TF£ERIF0EZ, 19 IT RESOLLVEDs That the City Council of the 'City
of Huntington Beach does hereby findq establish and determine that the
general prevailing rate of per diem wages in this locality for workmen
needed in the resurfacing and installation of concrete curbs on 17th
Street within the City of Huatirgten Beach and the general prevailing
rage of legal holiday and overtime wok, is as follows:

OnWIME RAM
FINISHERS--Time and one-half for the first three hours after
the regularly constituted straight time shift, and all other
overtime shall be double time.
WA —Time and one-half for all time °worked in excess of eight
(8) hours per day and for the sixth consecutive day worked; and
double time far the seventh consecutive day worked. Watchmen':,
shall also receive time and one-half for holidays except mhcre

OPEUTING ENGINEERS—Time and one-half for all overtime except Sunders
and Holidays which are double time. Mhere Operating Engineers,
during an one calendar day, are working overtime an the same
unit of a project an which another craft is working overtime at

• the double time rate, then the Operating Engineers on suck unit of work
shall also be paid at the doable time rate.
A unit of the project means any single buildings facility: utility,
or arq other single structure which is independent of any other milt of the
project*
The operation of a crashing plant for stock pile and the servicing,
repairingg and maintenance of equipment on a project shall be at time and
one--half, except in the following two instances:
1. Sundays and Holidayse
2, 'Where the equipment operator is repairing his equipment an a
unit of the project ct where doable tee is being paid in that
calendar daye -
Rhen the Operating Engineer is working on a project as an integral
part of a crew where another craft is receiving overtime pair be virtue of a
holiday not specified in Up Master Labour Agreement, then the operatic
Engineer shall receive the same overtime rate as the ether craft*
The rates per hoary indicated above are based upon the local prom
