HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1161 RESOLUTION NO. llbl A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH HECLLRING A CERTAIN FIR ENGINE PUMPER OBSOLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE THEREOF. WHEREAS9 the City of Huntington Beach is the owner of a certain Fire Engine Pumper described as a 1927 Seagrave (Suburbanite) , 440 gallons per minute capacity; and WEEMS, said Fire Engine Pumper is obsolete and of insufficient capacity to be of any further use to the City of Huntington Beach Fire Department; and WHEREAS,, said property now has' no value as a piece of equipment but has value only as a salvage item; and WEEREAS2 it is to the best interest of the City of Huntington Beach that said property be sold: HOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach do find and determine that said 1927 Seagrave 400 gal. Fire Engine Pumper is obsolete and cannot serve any useful purpose in the service of the Hunting- ton Beach Fire Department. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property has no value as equipment and its only value is as a salvage item. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is to the best interest of the City of Huntington Beach that said property be sold. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said property be and ,the same is hereby ordered to be salvaged and sold at the best ,1_ teso. 1161 possible price.
