A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING THE NAME OF A STREET.
Whereas, the City of Huntirg ton Beach recently
constructed a street connecting Frankfort Street and Fifth
Street in the City of Huntington Beach; and
Whereas, said street has been referred to as the
"Frankfort Street cut-off" , the "Fifth Street extension" ,
and other names; and
Whereas, said street has not been given an
official name by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach that the street heretofore
commonly known by the names of "Frankfort Street cut-off" and
the "Fifth Street extension" , which said street connects
Fifth Street and Frankfort Street, be and the same is hereby
named FIFTH STREET from the point of the intersection with
Fifth Street to the railway right-of-way of the Southern
Pacific Railway Company.
j PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular adjourned
meeting thereof _held on the 14th day of April, 1952.

I, JOHN L. HENRICKSEN, the duly elected, qualified
and acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and
ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of ,said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
adjourned
at a regular/meeting thereof held on the ll+th day of April,
1952, by the following vote:

Greer, Talbert, LeBard, Seabridge, Langenbeck.
NOES: Councilmen:
None.
