HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1182 RESOLUTION NO. 1182 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING THE GENLRAL PREVAILING RATE OF HOURLY WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WORKMAN OR MECHANIC NEEDED IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF A GRADE CROSSING AT THE PACIFIC ELECTRIC RAILROAD ON SEVENTE&TH STREET BETWEEN PINE STRE", .AND YORKTOWN STREET, IN THE CITY CF HMTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORKTA. SAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general prevailing rate of hourly gages in this locality for workmen needed in the construction and improvement of a Grade Crossing at the Pacific Electric Railroad on Seventeenth Street between Pine Street and Yorktown Street in the City of Huntington Beachs, and has con- sidered evidence presented. Sundays and Holidays. 2. 'Where the equipment operator is repairing his equipment on a unit of the project where double time is being paid in that calendar day* When the operating engineer is working on a project of the work as an integral part of a crew where another craft is receiving overtime pay by virtue of a holiday not specified in the Master Labor Agreement., then the operating engineer shall receive the same overtime rate as the other craft* The rates per hour indicated above are based upon the local prevailing rates per day, being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour. Hourly rates of pay are based upon eight hours per day for a full day or a fractional part of a day PASSED AND ,ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California$ at a regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of Septembers 1952.
