RESOLUTION 1189
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTIMTON BEACH TRAMFERRING OF
CHAPTER. 20, Swuns OF 1946, UNUSED FUNDS
TO CRANGE COtWff JOINT OUTFALL SEWER
DISTRICT NO, 11.
1. WHEREAS, the State of California under Chapter 2O,1 Statutes of
1946 (First Extra Session), as amended, has appropriated funds for allot
went to provide for financial assistance to Local Agencies, defined there-
in as counties, cities and counties, or cities, so they may engage in a
large public works construction program in order to prevent and alleviate
unemployment; and
2. WHEREAS, the aforesaid Act in Section 23 authorizes a Local
Agency to assign the funds allocated to it thereunder, or any portion
thereof, to any other Local Agency or to any governmental unit or district
in this State; and
3• WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach desires to make an assign-
went to Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer District No„ 11, and has had
allocated to it by said Act an amount which contains a sufficient balance
to permit the assignment therefrom of the sum hereinafter mentionedz
4• NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Huntington Beach
hereby assigns the sun of one Thousand Six Hundred Twenty Five and 13/100
Dollars ( 1,625.13) from the funds allocated to it under said Act, to
Orange County Joint Outfall Sewer District No* 11 for the sole use of the
assignee; such assigned funds to be for the uses and purposes prescribed
by the aforesaid Act;
5• BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that certified copies of the Resolution
shall be filed with the Assignee, the State Controller, the State Director
of Finance, and the State Allocation Board.

City Council of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number of
members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that
the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council at a regular
meeting thereof held on thelgth day of Januarys 1953, by the following votes .
