HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1218 RESOLUTION NO. 1218 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH CALI- FORNIA DIRECTING THE INSTALLATION OF PARING METERS UPON STREETS OR PORTIONS THEREOF AND UPON CITY OWNED OR LEASED LAND? WITHIN THE PARKING METER ZONE AND DESIGNATING THE DAYS AND HOURS LURING WHICH SUCH PARKING METERS SHALL BE IN OPERATION. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, resolve as follows: Section 1: That the Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to install twelve-hour meters as designated in Section 6526.41 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, upon the city-leased land between Ocean Avenge and the Pacific Electric Railway tracks between "A" Street and Ninth Street in the City of Huntington Beach. Section 2: That the Superintendent of Streets is • hereby directed to install twelve-minute, sixty-minute, one- hundred-twenty-minute, or five-hour meters, as the Council by motion shall direct, along both sides of Ocean Avenue within the parking meter zone. Section 3: That the parking meters directed to be installed by Section. 1 and Section 2 of this resolution shall be in operation and subject to the provisions of Chapter 65 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. of each day between the first day of May and the first day of November in each year, and at such other times as the Council by motion may prescribe. -1 R630# 1218 • PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of 16W 1954. • FOX .,3 UW Mayor ATTEST: City Clerk • • • -2- Resos 1218 STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) .
