A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH TO VACATE A
PORTION OF BUSHARD STREET IN SAID CITY AND
GIVING NOTICE OF A HEARING ON SAID VACATION

WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach has re-routed
a portion of Bushard Street at its intersection with Wright
Street in the City of Huntington Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to vacate the said
portion of Bushard Street as hereinafter described:
NOd THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, does resolve, determine and
declare as follows:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach does .hereby declare its intention to vacate
a Portion of Bushard Street within the City of Huntington
r Beach described as follows:
A parcel of land in the City of Huntington Beach,
Orange County, California, described as:
That portion of Bushard Street as described in
a Deed to the County of Orange recorded in Book
1039, page 414, Official Records of Orange County,
lying mrtherly of Parcel I and Southerly of
Parcel II as said parcels are described in a
Deed to the County of Orange recorded in Book
2551, pages 301 and 302, Official Records of
• Orange County, California.

For further particulars reference is hereby made to
a map on file in the office of the City Clerk of said city.
Section 2: That notice is hereby given that the
7th day of September , 1954, at the hour of 8.,00 o'clock
P.M. , in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington
Beach, California, is the time and place when and where a
public hearing shall be held upon said resolution of in-
tention to vacate said above described portion of Bushard
Street, at which hearing all persons interested in or ob-
jecting to the proposed vacation may be heard.
Section 3: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a copy of this resolution of intention to
be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the City of
* Huntington Beach, by one insertion prior to the hearing
set forth in Section 2 hereof.
Section 4: The City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach does hereby elect to proceed under the provisions
of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 in the vacating of a
portion. of Bushard Street as above described.
Section 5: The Street Superintendent is hereby
authorized and directed to post notices of street vacation
as required by law.

PASSED AND ADOPTED By the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 2nd day of August, 1954.

resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of
