RESOLUTION NO. 1244
"AN ORDER OF THE CITY COtiNCIL VACATING THE
ALLEY IN BLOCK 1015 OF WESLEY HEIGHTS TRACT
IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA
•
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
;Beach, California, did by unanimous vote on the 4th day of
April, 1955, at a regular meeting of said body, regularly
and duly adopt Resolution No. 1241, entitled "A Resolution
of Intention of the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach To Vacate the Alley in Block 1015 of Wesley Heights
Tract and giving Notice of Hearing on said Vacation" ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
• Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the
Street Vacation Act of 1941; and
WHEREAS, the alley. to be vacated lies within the City
of Huntington Beach and is not a portion of a state high-
way; and
AREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington
Beach did cause a copy of said resolution of intention to
be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the City of
• Huntington Beach, by one insertion on the 14th day of April,
1955; and
WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the
2nd of May, 1955, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the
Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, was the

• time and place when and where a public hearing was to be
held upon said resolution of intention, at which hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation may be heard; and
• WHEREAS, notice of alley vacation was posted as re-
quired by law; and
JAIHEREAS, there were no protests or persons appear-
ing against said proposed alley'..vacation at said hearing;
and
•
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach finds and determines from all evidence submitted
that the alley described in said Resolution No. 121+1 is
unnecessary for present or prospective public street
• purposes:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach hereby resolves as follows:
Section 1: That it is ordered that that certain al-
• ley within the City of Huntington Beach, described as
follows:
ItA parcel of land in the City of Huntington.
Beach, Orange County, California, described
as the parcel of land being the alley in
• Block 1015, Wesley Heights Tract, as shown
on a map in Book 4, Page 23, -Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California"
be, and the same is hereby vacated for public street
purposes.

Section 2: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to cause a certified copy of this order, at-
tested by the clerk under the seal of this city, together
with a certified copy of Resolution 1241 to be recorded
• in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County
California.
