A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF-
ORNIA, DESIGNATING A TWO HOUR PARKING
LIMIT BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9 A.M. and
6 P.M. ON A PORTION OF FIFTH STREET
and DESIGNATING SAID PORTION OF FIFTH
STREET SUBTECT TO LIMITED PARKING BE-
• TWELii 2.A.M. and 5 A.M.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington.
Beach, California, is empowered by the Huntington Beach
Ordinance Code, Section,, 6421 and Section 6301 to control
and limit parking on streets within the City of Huntington
Beach, and
AREAS, it is necessary and desirable that a portion
of Fifth Street, between Orange Avenue and Magnolia Avenues
be limited to two hour parking between 9 A.M. and 6 P.M.
and be limited to thirty (30) minutes between 2 A.M. and
5
A.M. ;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach that that portion of Fifth Street
between Orange Avenue and Magnolia Avenue be and the same is
hereby designated as subject to a two hour parking limit be-
tween the hours of 9 A.M. and 6 P.M. of any day
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that that portion of Fifth Street
lying between Orange Avenue and Magnolia Avenue be and the
same is hereby designated as subject to a thirty (30) minute
parking limit between the hours of 2 A.M. and 5 A.M. of any
day.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police be and

he is hereby authorized and directed to place and maintain
signs designating the provisions of this resolution and
that said signs be not more than 150 feet apart in each of
the blocks subject to this limitation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
• Huntington Beach, Californiat at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 3rd day of October, 1955.
