F v OR THE At����XA�1ON OF TE).�R110K� liESIG NA- TED AS"EAST AIvNEXATION"AND AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICIiTION THEREOF AND APPROVING • THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION WHEREAS , on April 12, 1957, there was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach a copy of Notice of Intention to Circulate Petition Relating to Annexation of Certain Territory to the City of Huntington Beach under the Annexation Act of 1913 pertaining to territory desig- nated as"East Annexationxlaccompanied by a written statement containing reasons for the petition together with an affi- davit of publication of said notice on April 11, 1957, in the Huntington Beach News; and WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the notice and approving the circulation of the petition; N0119 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach: Section 1. That the receipt of the notice , statement and affidavit aforesaid be and the same hereby is acknowledged, and that approval be and hereby is given for the circulation of the petition for annexation of that certain territory designated as"East Annexation"twenty-one days after the pub- 1.
