WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general pre- vailing rate of hourly gages in this locality for workmen needed in the reconstruction, resurfacing., and l-rprovement of Atlanta Avenue from, Hampshire Avenue to Newland Suet, Bushard Street from Atlanta Avenue to Hamilton Street, and H-3,mil lion Street from Bushard Street to Broom burst Street, and has considered evidence presented. H THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council of the City of Hu;°ntington, Beach doses hereby find, establish and determine that the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for work— man needed in the reconstruction, resurfacing, and improvement of Atlanta Avenue from Hampshire Avenue to Newland Street., Bushard Street from Atlanta Avenue to Hamilton Street, and Hearnilton Suet from Bushard Street to Brookburst Street, within the City of Huntington Beach and the general prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime work, is as follows. Mere OperatinCD g Engineers, during any one calendar day, are working overtime on the same unit of a project `on -%hich another craft is workingovertime at the double time rate, then. the Operating Engineers on each unit of work shall also be paid at the double time rate. (3) Resolution No, OVERTIME TES (cunt) i A unit of the project means any single building, facility, utility, or any other single structure which is independent of any other unit of the project. `fhe operation of a crushing plant for stock pile and the servicing, repairing, and maintenance of equipment on a project shall be at tine and one half, except in the follow-- ing two instances: 1. Sundays and Holidays. 2. Where the equipment operator is repairing his equipment on a unit of the project where double time is being paid in that calendar day. Maen the Operating Engineer is working on a project as on integral part, of a crew where another craft is receiving overtime pay by virtue of a holiday not specified in the Master Labor Agreement, then. the Operating Engineer shall receive the same overtime rate as the other craft. The rates per hour, indicated above are based upon the local prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour. Dourly rates of pay, based upon eight hours per day for a full day or a fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for overtime anal/or Sundays or Legal Holidays.
