HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1357 RESOLUTION NO. 1357 A RESOLUTION OF PRELIMfINAMY APPROWL OF ENGINEEW a REPORT PURStT_ANT TO ORDINANCE NO, 689. 111'�1?KINO DISTRICT NO. 1 RESOLVED, by the fusty Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California$ that VHEREAS, on the 19th day of January 1959, this Council did adopt its Resolution of Approval and agreement to Terms of Petition for the Formation of parking District No, 1 andDirecting preparation of Report, and did refer the matter to the City Engineer of said City, and did therein direct him to mare and file with this City Council a report in writing all as therein more particularly described, under and pursuant to Orr-inance No. 689, adopted by this Council on Tune 2, 1958; "P EREAS, said City Engineer has made and filed with the City Council of said City a report in writing as called for in said resolution, and under and pursuant to said law, which report has been presented to this Council for consideration; TMEREAS, said City Council has duly considered said report and each and every part thereof, and finds that each and every part of said report is sufficient, and that said report, nor any part thereof requires or should be modified in any respect; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as f ollows s Reso. No. 1357 1. That the estimate of the cost of the acquisitions and improvements proposed by the petition and of the incidental expenses in connection therewith and of the proceedings therefor, as contained in said report, be, and the same are hereby preliminar- ily approved and confirmed. 2. That the estimate of the annual revenues which can be expected to be derived from the operation of the proposed parking places, and of the annual expenses of operating and main- taining the parking places Oxclusive of principal and interest on the bonds to be issued, as contained in said report, be, and the same are hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed. 3. That the estimate . of the annual net revenues which can be expected to be derived from the parking meters, a portion of the revenues from which are by the petition proposed to be pledged to the purposes specified in said law, as contained in said report, be, and the same are hereby preliminarily approved and confirmed. 4. That the total assessed value of the real property within the proposed district as shown on the last equalig.ed assess- ment roll, as contained in said report, be, and the same is hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed. 5.
