A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 'T-
INGTCN BEACH TO VACATE A PORTION
OF AN EASES NT IN SAID CITY, .AND
GIVING NOTICE OF A H143 ON SAID
PROPOSED VACATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach has been presented with a request to abandon a portion
of an easement in said city, as hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to vacate the said
easement,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach, California, does resolve, determine and declare
as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Hunt-
ington Beach does hereby declare its intention to vacate
that certain easement running through a portion of Block "A",
Tract No. 528 in the City of .Huntington Beach, which ease-
ment is further described as follows:
That certain easement situated in Block
"All of Tract No. 528, running northerly
from Wintersburg Avenue through said
Block "A" to the northerly boundary of
Lots and6 , which, easement is further
k shown on a map thereof recorded in Book
18, at Page 28, of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of grange County, California

For further particulars reference is hereby made to a.
map on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2, That notice is hereby given that the 16th
day of March, 1959, at the hour of 8:30 o'clock P.M, in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Huntington Beach,
California, is the, time and place when and where a public
hearing shall be held upon this resolution of intention to
vacate said above described easement,at which hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
may be heard.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause a copy of this Resolution of Intention to
f be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and published in the City of
Huntington Beach for at least two successive weeks prior
to the hearing.
Section 4. The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of
Article 5, Title 5, Division 1, Part 1, Chapter 2 of the
Government Code of the State of California which'Art-icle
is cited as "Public Service Easements Vacation Law" .
Section 5. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and
directed to post notices of easement vacation as required
by law.

Huntington Beach' California' at a regular meeting thereof
