NIEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Peach has
conducted a hearing for the purpose of e stabli ng the general
prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed
in the construction and plat mimed: surfacing of a. Heacfront
Service Road, and has considered evidence presented..
NOW
THERE ORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that the
general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen
needed in the construction and plant wed surfacing of a Heachfront
Service Road, within the City of z tington Peach and the general
prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime work, is as follows:

Time and one-half for the first three hours after the

overtime shall be doable time.

Time and one-half except Sundays and Holidays -which are double
tine, except in Kern, Ingo and Mono Counties -where the over-
tune rate is time and one-half for all overtime.
OPEILIATIN °
Time and one-half for all overtime except Sundays and Holidays
w1nich are double time. Where operating Engineers, during any
one calendar day are €�orl�ing o�rertime on trse same unit of a project
on Which another craft is working overtime at the double time rate,
then. the Operating Engineers on such unit of -work shall also be
paid at the double time rate,
A unit of the project means any single building, facility,
utility, or any other single structure w l-dch is independent of
any other unit of the project.
The operating of a crushing plant for stock pike and the
sex-.-icing,, repairing, and maintenance of equipment on a project
shall be at time and one-half, except in the following two
instances:
1. Sundays and Holidays.
2. Where the equipment operator is repairing his equipment on
a unit of the project where double time is being paid in
that calendar day,
When. the Operating :engineer is working on a project as on
integral part of a crew wheeze another craft is receiving over-
time pay by virtue of a holiday not specified in the Master
Resolution No. 1376
labor Agreement,ent, there the Operating Engineer shall receive
the same overtime rate as the other craft. The rates per bour,
indicated above are based upon the local prevailing rates per day
being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour. Eburly rates
