r RESOLUTION No. 1402 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING HOURLY WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR_TYPE OF WORKN OR ) ECHANIC NEEDED FOR. THE CONSTRUCTION ARID INSTALLATION OF A WATER DISTRIBUTION MAIN ON SNELTZER AVENUE BETWEEN HUNTINGTON BEACH BOULEVARD AND WARM STREET, IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA. 1HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing a water distri- bution main on Smeltzer ,Avenue between Huntington Beach Boulevard. and Warren Street, in the City of Huntington Beach, and has considered evidence presented. PIPE TRADES Utility Pipeline Foreman 4.58 Health & Welfare 120 Utility Pipeline Journeyman 4.33 Health & Welfare 12¢ OVERM E RATES WATCHMEN Time and one-half for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day and for the sixth consecutive day worked; double time for the seventh consecutive day worked. Watchmen shall also receive time and one-half for holidays, except where a holiday falls on the 7th consecutive day worked, which shall be doable time. LABORERS - Time and one-half., except Sundays and Holidays, which are double time. OPERATING ENGINEERS Time and one-half for all overtime, except Sundays and Holidays., which are double time. Where Operating Engineers, during any one claendar day, are working overtime on the same unit of a project on which another craft is working overtime at the double time rate, then the Operating Engineers on such unit of work shall also be paid at the double time rate. TEAMTERS - Time and one-half except Sways and Holidays., which are double time. FOREIMEN - All foremen not herein separately classified shall be paid not less than 25 cents per hour more than the hourly rate of the 4 Fr Resolution No. 1402 ©VERMIE RATES (c ont I d) highest classification over which he has supervision. ,APPRENTICES May be employed in conformity with Section 1777.5 of the California Labor Code. The rates per hour indicated above are based upon the local prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate per hour. Hourly rates of pay, based upon eight hours per day for a full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages for a fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multi- plied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays.
