HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1410 P RESOLUTION No.1410 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING THAT CERTAIN MASTER LAND USE PLAN - AMENDED JANUARY, 1960 - AS PART OF THE MASTER PLAN OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNT- INGTON BEACH, as follows: WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hunt- ington Beach has held public hearings on the amendment of the Master Land Use Plan for the City of Huntington Beach, as required by law; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has held a public hearing on the proposed amendment of the Master Land Use Plan of the City of Huntington Beach, as recommended for adoption by the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, as adopted by its Resolution No. 86; and WHEREAS, said plan is being amended in order to: (a) promote the public health, safety, welfare and convenience; (b) serve as a general guide for the development of public and private lands, streets and highways; (c) provide an authentic source of information for residents and investors in the City; and (d) To obviate the menace to public safety and property values resulting from inadequate provision for II, 1. Res. No. 1410 planning; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby adopt that certain plan entitled "City of Huntington Beach, Master Land Use Plan, amended January, 1960, as part of the Master Plan of the City of Huntington Beach. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk certify on said map, its adoption by the Council of the City of Huntington Beach.
