A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPT-
ING THAT CERTAIN MASTER PLAN OF FIRE
STATION SITES - 196o, AS PART OF THE
MASTER PLAT. OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hunt-
ington Beach has held public hearings on the Master Plan
of Fire Station Sites - 1960, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach has held a public hearing on the proposed Master Plan
of Fire Station Sites - 1960, as recommended for adoption
by the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach,
as adopted by its Resolution No. $8; and
WHEREAS, said plan is being adopted in order to:
(a) Promote the public health, safety, welfare
and convenience.
(b) Serve as a general guide for future City
Council decisions where site acquisition
is to be accomplished.
(c) Provide an authentic source of information
upon which to base a preliminary report of
Capital Improvements Requirements.
(d) To obviate the hazard of spiraling land
costs and expensive condemnations where nec-
essity of sites can be predd`-mined.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby adopt that

certain plan entitled "City of Huntington Beach, Master Plan
of Fire Station Sites - 196011 , as part of the Master Plan of
the City of Huntington Beach, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 7th day of March , 196o.

I, JOHN L. HENRICKSEN, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote
of more than a majority of all the members of said City
Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day
of March 1960, by the following vote:
