A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF
HOURLY WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WORK-
MAN OR'NECHANIC NEEDED FOR THE RECONSTRTCTION#
SURFACING, AND neROVmm OF HUNTINGTON
AVENUE, NMVE'EK PACIFIC COAST HIGHUY AND
ATL,ANTA AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH,
CALIFORNIA.
SAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has
conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general
prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workmen needed*
in the reconstruction, surfacing, and improvements of Huntington
Avenue, between Pacific Coast Highway and Atlanta Avenue, and has
considered evidence presented,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that the
general prevailing rate of hourly gages in this locality for workmen
needed in the reconstruction, surfacing, and Uprovewnts of Huntington
Avenue, between Pacific Coast Highway and Atlanta Avenues within the
City of Huntington Beach and the general prevailing rate of legal
holiday and overtime work, is as follows:

The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in
the schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed contract,
shall be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for similar
or comparable duties*
OVERT3A RATES
CANT MASONS - Time and one-hall' for the first three hours after the
regularly constituted straight-time shift, and all other overtime shall
be double time.
ENGINEERS Time and one-half for all overtime, except Sundays and
holidays, which are double time.
LABORERS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are
double time. (On Tide Work, special provisions of Tide Work Schedule
shall apply.)
TEAMSTERS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and Holidays, which are
double time.

OVERTIME RATES (Coot'd)
PIMITTERS — Double time for all over time.
The rates per hour, indicated above are based upon the local
prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate
per hour* hourly rates of pays based upon eight hours per day for a
full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem gages of a
fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied
by the number of hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or
Sundays or Iega1 Holidays.

resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote
of more than a majority of all the members of said City
Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7th day
