A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING HOURLY WAGES
FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WOREMAN OR MECHANIC
NEEDED FOR THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF
VITRIFIED IED CLAY PIPE SE",'JER MAINS, M&NHOLES, AND
APPURTENANCES IN BENCH BOULEVARD FROM SLATER
AVENUE TO ELLIS AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
Vff EREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has
conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing sanitary sewers in
Beach Boulevard from Slater Avenue to Ellis Avenue, in the Cit r of
Huntington Beach, and has considered evidence presented.
N9W THERE"ORE, BE IT ESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that
the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for work—
men needed in the construction and installation of sanitary sewers in
Beach Boulevard from Slater Avenue to Ellis Avenue, within the City of
Huntington Beach and the general prevailing rate of legal holiday and
overtime work, is as follows:

"The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in
the schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed contract,
shall be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for similar
or comparable duties in the Southern California Master Labor Agreement."
OVERTIME RATES
LABORERS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and Holidays, which are
double time.
OPERATIi G ETA?GINLMS - Time and one-half for all overtime, except Sundays
and 'Holidays, which are double time. 71here Operating Engineers, during
any one calendar day, are working overtime on the same unit of a project
on which another craft is workdng overtime at the double time rate, then
the Operating Engineers on such unit of i,-Jork shall also be paid at the
double time rate.
TEA-11STERS - Time and one half except Sundays and. Holidays, which are
doi.ible time.
The rates per hour indicated above are based upon the local
prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate
per hour. Hourly rates of pay, based upon eight hours per day for a
full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages for a
fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multiplied
by the number of hours worked on said day other than for overtime and/or
Sundays or Legal Holidays.
