CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH A14ARDING CONTRACT IN THE DARNER AVENUE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 6101 WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California did, on the 20th day of November, 1961 , publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for performing the work and improvements described in Resolution of Intention No. 1531 of said City Council , adopted October 16 , 1961 , which said resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and improvements and for all other particulars relative to the proceedings thereunder; and WHEREAS , said City Council did declare the results of said bids at its said meeting of November 20, 1961; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, in adjourned regular session assembled this 22th day of November , 1961 that said City Council hereby rejects all of said pro- posals or bids except that herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and making said improvements to the lowest responsible -1- Res . No. 1542 bidder, to wit: Dakovi.ch & Kral Co. , Pico Rivera, California BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of said city is hereby directed to publish notice of said award twice in THE HUNTINGTON BEACH NEWS , a news- paper published and circulated in said City of Hunting- ton Beach, and heretofore designated for that purpose by said City Council.
