A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF
APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS
OR FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach has adopted a Budget for the Fiscal Year 1961-1962 by
Ordinance No. 853; and
WHEREAS, Section 7 of said Ordinance No. 853 pro-
vides the procedure for authorizing transfers of appropri-
ations between departmens and funds ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has recom;-iiended a
transfer of appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby approves said
recommendation;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1. That a transfer of appropriations in
the amount of Eight Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($800.00) is
hereby authorized to be made from Account No. 5192, Street
Maintenance New Equipment Capitol Outlay, to Account No. 7294,
Municipal Parks General Equipment.
Section 2. That a transfer of appropriations in
the amount of Three Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($3000.00)
is hereby authorized to be made from Account No. G-2541,
Reserve for Contingencies to Account No. 3392, Police Depart-
ment Autos.
Section 3. That a transfer of appropriations in
the amount of One Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($1000.00) is

hereby authorized to be made from Account No. G-254, Reserve
for Contingencies , to Account No. 3394, Police Department
General Equipment.
Section 4. That a transfer of appropriations in
the amount of Fifteen Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($15,000.00)
is hereby authorized to be made from Account No. G-254,
Reserve for Contingencies, to Account No. 66'91, Beachfront
Playground Buildings and Other Structures.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 5b day of March, 1962.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote
of more than a majority of all the members of said City
Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5M day of
