HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1599 RESOLUTION NO. 1599 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE USE OF FACSIMILE SIGNATURES. RESOLVED, that the Security First National Bank, Huntington Beach Branch, as a designated de- positary of the City of Huntington Beach be and it (including its correspondent banks) is hereby re- quested, authorized and directed to honor all checks, drafts or other. orders for the payment of money drawn in the name of the City of Huntington Beach on all its accounts (including those drawn to the individual order of any person or persons whose names appear thereon as signer or signers thereof) when bearing or purporting to bear the facsimile signature(s) of any two of the Following, and the Security First National Bank, Huntington Beach Branch, (includi4g its correspondent banks) shall be entitled to honor and to charge the City of Huntington Beach for all such checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money, regardless of by whom or by what means the actual or purported facsimile signature or signatures thereon may have been affixed thereto, if such facsimile signature or signatwes resemble the facsimile specimens from time to time filed with the Security First National Bank by the City Clerk or other officer of the City of Huntington Beach; and FURTHER RESOLVED, that all previous author- izations for the signing and honoring of checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money drawn on the said Security First National Bank by the City df Huntington Beach are hereby continued in full force and effect as amplified hereby.
