A RESOLUTI1'-N OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF

ORNIA AUT'JORRING THE USE OF FACSIMILE
SIGNATURES.
RESOLVED, that the United California Bank,
Huntington Beach Office, as a designated depositary
of the City of Huntington Beach be and it (including
its correspondent banks) is hereby requested, author-
ized and directed to honor all checks, drafts or
other orders for the payment of money drawn in the
name of the City of Huntington Beach on all its accounts
(including those drawn to the individual order of any
person or persons whose names appear thereon as signer
or signers thereof) Wien bearing or purporting to bear
the facsimile signature(s) of any two of the following,
and the United California Bank, Huntington Beach Office,
(including its correspondent banks) shall be entitled
to honor and to charge the City of Huntington Beach
for all such checks, drafts or other orders for the
payment of money, regardless of by whom or by what
means the actual or purported facsimile signature or
signatures thereon may have been affixed thereto, if
such facsimile signature or signatures resemble the
facsimile specimens from time to time filed with the
United California Bank by the City Clem or other
officer of the City of Huntington Beach; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all previous author-
izations for the signing and honoring of checks, drafts
or other orders for the payment of money drawn on the
said United California Bank by the City of Huntington
Beach are -hereby continued in full force and effect
as amplified hereby.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular
meeting hereof held on the 4tb day of June, 1962.

I, PAUL C. ,TONES, the duly elected, qualified
and acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach,
and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of said City,
do hereby certify that the whole number of members of
the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five;
that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted by
the affirmative vote of more than a majority of all the
members of said City Council at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 4th day of June, 1962, by the following vote:
