A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH DETERMINING THE
NECESSITY OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF A
SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IN THE WASHINGTON
AVENUE-PATTERSON WAY ASSESSMENT DISTRICT,
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO 6201, AND REQUESTING
INVESTIGATION THEREOF BY HEALTH OFFICER
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California in regular session assembled
this 18th day of June, 1962 that the public interest and
convenience require the construction and installation of
a sanitary sewer system in:
1. Patterson Way from its intersection with
Ellis Street to its Northerly terminus;
2. La Palma Street from its intersection with
Patterson Way to its Easterly terminus;
3 . Lyndon Street from its intersection with
Warner Avenue to a point in Lyndon Street
420 feet North of Warner Avenue;
4. Washington Avenue from its intersection
with Lyndon Street to its intersection with
the public alley 520 feet East thereof;
5. Warner Avenue from its intersection
with the Pacific Electric Railway Company
right of way to its intersection with the
public alley 650 feet East thereof,
as a health measure, and that proceedings for the construction
of said sanitary sewer system under the Improvement Act of
1911, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, are necessary as a health measure.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that EDWARD LEE RUSSELL,

the Health Officer of the County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, is hereby requested to investigate the necessity of
said construction and the necessity of said proceedings under
the Improvement Act of 1911 as a health measure , and to
submit his written opinion and recommendation in regard
thereto.

acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that 'the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of June,
1962, by the following vote:
