AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH VACATING
CERTAIN EASEMENTS IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, did, by unanimous vote on the 2nd day
of July, 1962, at a regular meeting of said body, regularly
and duly adopt Resolution No. 1619, entitled "A RESOLUTION
OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH TO VACATE CERTAIN EASEMENTS IN SAID CITY AND GIVING
NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE OF A HEARING ON SAID VACATIONS" ;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the
Street Vacation Act of 1941 (Section 8300-8331, Streets
and Highways Code) ; and
,
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington
Beach did cause a copy of said Resolution of Intention to
be published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of
general circulation printed and published in the City of
Huntington Beach by two insertions on the 5th day of July,
1962 and on the 12th day of July, 1962; and
WHEREAS:, said resolution contained a notice that the
23rd day of July, 1962, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.H.

in the Council Chamber in the City Hall, H7ntington Beach,
California, was the time and place, when and where a public
hearing was to be held upon said Resolution of Intention at
which hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacations could be heard; and
WHEREAS, notices of Vacation of Easements were posted
as required by law;
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach, after hearing the evidence offered by all persons
interested in said matter,does hereby find from all evidence
submitted that the easements proposed to be vacated are un-
necessary for present or prospective public street purposes
and that the easements herein described as ;
A 40.00 foot wide easement within the East half of
Fractional Section 9, Township 5 South, Range 11
West , San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the
Rancho La Bolsa Chica, in the City of Huntington
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, per
map in Book 51, Page 7, of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of said Orange County, described as
follows :
Being a 40.00 foot wide strip, 20.00 feet wide
on each side of the south line of the Northeast
quarter of said section, lying easterly of the
northeasterly line of the United States Railroad
right of way;
and
A 60.00 foot wide easement for highway purposes
within the North half of Fractional Section 9,
Township 5 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino
Base and Meridian, in the Rancho La Bolsa Chica,
in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, per map in Book 51 Page 7,
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said 6range
County, described as follows :

Being a 60.00 foot wide strip, 30.00 feet wide
on each side of the west line of the Northeast
quarter of said section lying northerly of the
north line of the United States Railroad right
of way and south of the north line of the South
half of the Northeast quarter of said section
and the westerly prolongation of said north line.

The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
cause a certified copy of this Order, attested to by the
Clerk, under the seal of this City, to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, this 23rd day of July,1962.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and act-
ing City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-of-
ficio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby cer-
tify that the whole number of members of the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing resol-
ution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of more
than a majority of all the members of said City Council at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of July 7
1962, by the following vote:
