A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING TO
PROPOSED DESIGN CHANGES FROM THE EXECUTED
FREEWAY AGRE&MENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach and the State
of California have heretofore entered into a Freeway Agree-
ment dated February 1, 1960, relating to the portion of the
San Diego Freeway, State Highway Road VII-ORA-158-HntB, be-
tween Huntington Beach-Fountain Valley city limits at
Cannery Street and Huntington Beach-Westminster city limits
of the S.P.R.R. ; and
vff REAS, further engineering studies inalicate that
the following revisions are desirable, to-wit :
Provide a pedestrian overcrossing at Heil Avenue
as shown on attached print labeled Exhibit IBI , dated
December 17b, 1962, and made a part hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved and ordered that
this City Council of the City of Huntington Beach hereby
concurs and approves the proposed revision as set forth here-
inabove, it being understood that a revised freeway agreement
incorporating said revision is to be entered into at some
future date.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon completion of the
pedestrian overcrossing by the State, the City will accept
and maintain said pedestrian overcrossing in its entirety,
except for damage to the structure resulting from freeway
vehicular traffic.

The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause a certified copy of this Rewolution, attested to by
the Clerk, under the seal of this City, to be forwarded to
A. W. Hoy, District Engineer, Division of Highways.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, this 7tb day of January
1963.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington 'Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution waa passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 7tb day of
January 1963, by the following vote :
