AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL VACATING
A PORTION OF GRAHAM STREET IN THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, did by unanimous vote on the 17th day
of December, 1962, at a regular meeting of said body, regu-
larly and duly adopt Resolution No. 1690, entitled "A Resol-
ution of Intention of the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach to vacate a portion of Graham Street in said City
and Giving Notice of Hearing on said Vacation" ; and
1HEAEAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach did elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941; and
WHEREAS, the portion of the street to be vacated lies
within the City of Huntington Beach and is not a portion of
a state highway; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington
Beach did cause a copy of said resolution of intention to be
published in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of gener-
al circulation printed and published in the City of Hunting-
ton Beach, by one insertion on the 20th day of December; and
WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the

21st day of Januaty , 1963, at the hour of 8 :00 P.M. in the
Council Chamber in the City Hall, Huntington Beach, was the
time and place when and where a public hearing was to be
held upon said resolution of intention, Pt which hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
may be heard; and
WHEREAS, notice of street vacation was posted as requir-
ed by law; and
WHEREAS, there were no protests or persons appearing
against said proposed street vacation at said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach finds and determines from all the evidence submitted
that the portion Of Graham Street described in said Resolu-
tion No. 1690 Is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes:
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach hereby resolves as follows:
A strip of land, 60 feet in width, lying 3Q feet
on either side of the North-South one-quarter
(N-SI) section line of Section 16, Township 5
South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Mer-
idian, being bounded on the South by the south
line of Section 16, being the centerline of Edinger
1'xenue (formerly Smeltzer Avenue) , and being bound-
ed on the North by the north line of Section 16,
being the centerline of Bolsa Avenue,
be,and the same is hereby vacated for public street purposes.

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized
and directed to cause a certified copy of this Order, attest-
ed by the City Clerk under the seal of this city, together
with a certified copy of Resolution No. 1690 to be recorded
In the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, Calif-
ornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Reach, this 2nd day of December 1963.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio, Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Ccuncil
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd dav of December
19632 by the following vote:
