A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH RELATING
TO DIVERSION OF DRAINAGE AT THE IN-
TERSECTION OF BEACH BOULEVARD AND
GARFIELD AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach did by minute
action approve a diversion of drainage at the intersection
of Beach Boulevard and Garfield Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the State Division of Highways has request-
ed a resolution be passed wherein the City of Huntington
Beach assumes all liabilities arising from said abandonment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Huntington Beach hereby assumes all liabilities arising due
to the abandonment of the concrete box culvert across Beach
Boulevard approximately 45 feet north of the centerline of
Garfield Avenue and the subsequent diversion of water from
the east to the west side of Beach Boulevard. The City fur-
ther agrees to process all complaints arising from said
abandonment and diversion and to make any needed alterations
at no expense to the State Division of Highways.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting of the City Council

City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-ofticio
Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby certify
that the whole number of members of the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach is five, that the foregoing resolu-
tion was passed and adapted by the affirmative vote of more
than a majority of all the members of said City Council at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of March'
1963, by the following vote:
