A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING HOURLY
WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR TYPE OF WORKUN OR
MECHANIC NEEDED FOR THE FURNISHING AND ERECTION
OF CONCRETE STREET LIGHTING STANDARDS ON
HUNTINGTON AVENUE BETWEEN DETROIT STREET AND
LINCOLN STREET, IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH,
CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
has conducted a hearing for the purpose of furnishing and erection
of concrete street lighting standards on Huntington Avenue between
Detroit Street and Lincoln Street, in the City of Huntington Beach,
California.
NO'N THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine
that the general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for
workmen needed for the furnishing and erection of concrete street
lighting standards on Huntington Avenue between Detroit Street and
Lincoln Street, within the City of Huntington Beach and the general
prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime work, is as follows:

Pension Plan - 100 per hour

20 tons or more 4-10
Health & Welfare Plan - 150 per hour
Pension Plan - 5¢ per hour
OVERTIME RATES
LABORERS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are
double time.
OPERATING ENGINEERS - Time and one-half for all overtime, except Sundays
and holidays, which are double time.
TEAMSTERS - Time and one-half, except Sundays and holidays, which are
double time.
The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in the
schedule, but which may be required to execute the proposed contract, shall
be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for similar or com-
parable duties in the Southern California Master Labor Agreements.

The rates per hour indicated above are based upon the local
prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate
per hour. Hourly rates of pay, based upon eight hours per day for
a full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages for a
fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour multi-
plied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for over-
time and/or Sundays and Iegal Holidays.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 6 th day of May 1963.
