A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
ESTABLISHING THE GENERAL PREVAILING RATE OF
PER DIEM WAGES FOR EACH CRAFT OR: TYPE OF
WOPMN OR MECHANIC NEEDED IN THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A. WATER. WELL IN THE CITY OF HUNPINGTON
BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
WIERFAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has
conducted a hearing for the purpose of establishing the general
prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for worm needed
in the construction of a Water Well in the City of Huntington Beach,
and has considered evidence presented.
NOff THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach does hereby find, establish and determine that the
general prevailing rate of hourly wages in this locality for workman
needed in the construction of a Water Well within. the City of Huntington
Beach and the general prevailing rate of legal holiday and overtime
work., is as follows:

OVERTIME RATES
ENGINEERS - Time and one-half for all overtime., except Sundays and
holidays., which are double time.
IABORERS - Time and one-half for all overtime., except Sundays and
holidays, which are double time,
TEAMSTERS - Time and one-half for all overtime, except Sundays and
holidays., which are double time.
CEMENT USONSI - Time and one-half for just three hours., double time
thereafter*
CARPENTERS - Double time for all overtime*
IRON WORKERS - Double time for all overtime*

Resolution No. 1799
The rate of compensation for any classification not listed in
the schedule., but which may be required to execute the proposed contract,,
shall be commensurate and in accord with the rates specified for
similar or comparable duties in the Southern California Master Labor
Agreements.
The rates per hour., indicated above are based upon the local
prevailing rates per day being eight times the above scheduled rate
per hour. Hourly rates of pay are based upon eight hours per day for
a full day or a fractional part of a day. The per diem wages of a
fractional part of a day shall be the applicable rate per hour
multiplied by the number of hours worked on said day other than for
overtime and/or Sundays or Legal Holidays.
PASSED AIM ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach., California at a regular meeting thereof held on the
