HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1806 RESOLUTION No. 1806 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF TWO POLICEMEN AT A COM- PENSATION GREATER THAN THE MINIMUM COM- PENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need of additional police personnel; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is to the public interest that additional police personnel be employed at above the minimum compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the educational qualifications and experience of Robert G. Nordquist and Earle W. Robitaille, Jr. 'ustify a beginning salary in excess of said minimum compensation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby authorize the em- ployment of Robert G. Nordquist and Earle W. Robitaille, Jr. as police officers at a beginning salary in excess of the mini- mum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-wit Range 35, Step C.
