HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1820 RESOLUTION No. 1820 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT-OF A POLICEMAN AT A COMPENSATION GREATER THAN THE MINIMUM COMPENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need of additional police personnel; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is to the public interest that additional police personnel be employed at above the minimum compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the educational qualifications and experience of Orval L. Wonner justifies a beginning salary in excess of said minimum com- pensation; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby authorize the I employrgent of Orval L. Wonner as police officer at a beginning salary in excess of the minimum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-wit: Range 35, Step C. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1963. ATTEST: Mayor City K rk T° 1� Res.
