HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1822 RESOLUTION No. 1822 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHOR- IZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN DEPARTMENTS OR FUNDS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has adopted a Budget for the Fiscal Year 1962-1963 by Ordinance No. 913; and WHEREAS, Section 3 of said Ordinance No. 913 provides the procedure for authorizing transfers of appropriations be- tween Departments and Funds; and WHEREAS, the City Treasurer has presented balances as of June 30th, 1963 in various Funds for transfer to the General Fund of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has recommended the transfer of appropriations in these Funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby approves said recom- mendation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that transfers of ap- propriations from Funds listed hereafter, in the amounts listed hereafter, is hereby authorized by the City Council, as follows : 1. Res. No 1822 $157,705.13 from MUSIC AND PROMOTION FUND to the GENERAL FUND for reimbursement of expenditures made for said fund during the fiscal year 1962-1963; li $227,177.64 from AUTO IN LIEU TAX FUND to the GENERAL FUND for law enforcement and regulation and control of highway traffic and cost of annexation proceedings ; $112,931.94 from SPECIAL RECREATION FUND to the GENERAL FUND for reimbursement of expenditures made for said fund during the fiscal year 1962-1963; : 56,498.04 from TRAFFIC SAFETY FUND to the GENERAL FUND for the maintenance and replacement of traffic signs, markings used for the purpose of regulating, warding and guiding traf- fic and for equipment and supplies for traffic law enforce- ment and traffic accident prevention and for the cost of maintenance, improvement or construction of public streets; 32, 538. 08 from PARKING METER FUND to the GENERAL FUND for traffic enforcement, street signs, traffic enforcement of- ficers' salaries and purchase, installation, supervision, protection, inspection, maintenance and operatijon of parking meters; 8, 350.08 from WATER FUND to the GENERAL FUND, representing 30 of the gross revenue received from the sale of water in lieu of franchise and property taxes. $. 999.53 from ANIMAL LICENSE FUND to the GENERAL FUND, the balance of all sums remaining in said fund after payment of all contract obligations payable therefrom, PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting held there- of on the Sth day of August, 1963.
