HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1836 RESOLUTION No. 1836 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF ONE FULL TIME LIFEGUARD AT A COMPENSATION GREATER THAN THE MINI- MUM COMPENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Huntington Beach is in need of ad- ditional lifeguard personnel; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is to the public interest that additional lifeguard personnel be employed at above the minimum compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the educa- tional qualifications and experience of Raymond Bray justify a beginning salary in excess of said minimum compensation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby authorize the em- ployment of Raymond Bray as full time lifeguard at a beginning salary in excess of the minimum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-Wit: Range 34, Step C.
