AN ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL VACATING
A PORTION OF INDIANAPOLIS STREET IN
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, did by unanimous vote on the 15th day of
July, 1963, at a regular meeting of said body, regularly and
duly adopt Resolution No. 1805, entitled "A Resolution of In-
tention of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
to Vacate a Portion of Indianapolis Avenue in said City and
Giving Notice of Hearing on said Vacation"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington.
Beach did elect to proceed under the- provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941; and
WHEREAS, the portion of the street to be vacated lies
within the City of Huntington Beach and is not ,a portion of
a state highway; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach
did cause a copy of said resolution of intention to be pub-
lished in the Huntington Beach News, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed and published in the City of Huntington
Beach, by one insertion on the 18th day of July, 1963; and
WHEREAS, said resolution contained a notice that the

19th day of August, 1963, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. In the
Council Chambers In the City Hall, Huntington Beach, was the
time and place when and where a public hearing was to be
held upon said resolution of Intention, at which hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation
may be heard; and
WHEREAS, notice of street vacation was posted as requir-
ed by law; and
WHEREAS, there were no protests or persons appearing
against said proposed street vacation at said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach finds and determines from all the evidence submitted
that the portion of Indianapolis Avenue described in said Resol-
ution No. 1805 Is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes:
NOW9 THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Hunting-
ton Beach hereby resolves as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot B. Block
908 of above named tract; said point lying on a
Line parallel with and lying 30-00 feet northerly
measured at right angles, from the South line of
the northeast one quarter of Section ll* Township
6 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian; thence northwesterly, along a tangent
Curve, concave to the northwest, having a radius
Of 135 feet, 52.29 feet through an angle of 220 llt
30" to a oint; said point lying on a line parallel
with and �0.00 feet North, measured at right angles,

from the South line of the northeast one quarter of
above mentioned Section 11; said point also being;
the True Point of Beginning thence continuing north-
westerly along last mentioned curve 8535 feet
through an angle of 360 13' 190 to a point, said
point being in the west right 0f way line of Beech
Boulevard, 138 feet in width as now laid out, and
also being parallel with and 50.00 feet westerly,
measured at right angles from the East line of above
mentioned Section 11; thence southerly, along last
described line, 24.29 feet to a paint of tangency
with a curve concave to the northwest having a radius
Of 30.00- feet; thence southwesterly, along said curve
47,10 feet through a central angle of 900, more or
less, to a point of tangency with the north line of
the south 40.00 feet of above mentioned Section 11;
thence westerly, along last mentioned line, 34.01
feet to the True Point of Beginning.

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorised
and directed to cause a certified copy of this Order, attest-
ed by the City Clerk under the seal of this city, together
with a certified copy of Resolution Nol 1805 to be recorded
in the office of the County Recorder of Orange Countp,Calif-
ornia.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Clerk of the City of
Huntington Beach, this 19th day of Au-aust 91963-
