HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1849 RESOLUTION No. 1849 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THAT CERTAIN MASTER LAND USE PLAN ENTITLED, "MASTER PLAN OF LAND USE, REVISED JANUARY, 1961", BY ADOPTING THE AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER PLAN OF LAND USE, STUDY AREA I, REVISED. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Hunt- ington Beach has held a public hearing, as required by law on that certain amendment to the "Master Plan of Land Use- Study Area I. Revised"; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach has held a public hearing, as required by law, on said amendment; and WHEREAS, said amendment is being adopted to: (a) Promote the health, safety, welfare and convenience of the general public; (b) Serve as a general guide for the develop. ment of public and private lands; (c) Provide an authentic source of information for residents and investors of the city; and (d) To obviate the menace to public safety and property values resulting from inadequate coor- dination and planning. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby adopt that eer- tain amendment entitled "Master Plan of Land Use - Study Area I, Revised" as part of the .Master Plan of Land Use of 1. Res. No. lg 9 the City of Huntington Beach; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk shall certify on said map, its adoption by the Council of the City of Huntington Beach.
