HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1867 RESOLUTION NO. 1867 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER PLAN OF ARTERIAL STREETS AND HIGHWAYS BY DELETING THE PLANNED EXTENSION OF DELAWARE STU-ET FROM ATLANTA AVENUE TO OCEAN AVENUE The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, the City has heretofore adopted a Master Plan for Streets and Highways; and WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, California , has held one public hearing in compliance with the State Government Code in order to consider and review Zone Case 370, and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission on the basis of existing and anticipated land use and traffic conditions, has determined that that portion of Delaware Street extending south of Atlanta Avenue to the Pacific Coast Highway is not a necessary part of the present highway plan. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as a result of study and consideration, hereby adopts an amendment to the Master Plan of Arterial Streets and Highways" deleting that portion of Delaware Street extending south of Atlanta Avenue to the Pacific Coast Highway, 1* Res. No. 1867 Section 2. That said amendment to the Master Plan of Arterial Streets and Highways is adopted by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as the official Master Plan of Arterial Streets and Highways of said City.
