A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH ADOPTING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER PLAN OF
ARTERIAL STREETS AND HIGHWAYS BY CERTAIN
ADDITIONS, DELETIONS AND MODIFICATIONS
OF THE PLAN.
The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach
does resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City heretofore adopted a Master
Plan for Streets and Highways; and
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, has held one public hearing
In compliance with the State Government Code in order to
consider and review Zone Case 329, and
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission, on the basis
of existing and anticipated land use and traffic conditions,
has determined that the present faster Plan of Arterial
Streets and Highways which was amended by the City Council
on June 69 1960, will not be sufficient to provide for
adequate traffic circulation that will be generated within
and adjacent to the city in the near future, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has determined
that the changes as outlined in the attached Exhibit A will
provide for better traffic circulation within and adjacent
to the city.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED$
Section 1. That the City Cocil of the City of
Huntington Beach, as a result of study and consideration,

hereby adopts said amendment to the Master Plan of Arterial
Streets and Highways as a part of the general plan of the
city of Huntington Beach.
Section 2, That said amendment to the Master Plan
of Arterial Streets and Highways Is recommended for adoption
by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach as the
official Master Plan of Arterial Streets and Highways of
said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, this 4tb day of
November 1963.
