HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1880 RESOLUTION NO. 1'884 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE USE OF FACSIMILE SIGNATURES. RESOLVED, that the: United States National Bank., as a designated depositary of the City of Huntington Beach be and it (including its correspondent banks) is hereby requested, authorized and directed to honor all checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money drawn in the name of the City of Huntington Beach on all its accounts (including y g g those drawn to the individual order of any person or persons whose names appear thereon as signer or signers thereof) when bearing or purporting to bear the facsimile signatures) of any of the following; 1. ' Resolution No. 1880 A and the United States National Bank (including its corres- pondent banks) shall be entitled to honor and charge the City of Huntington Beach for all such checks, drafts or other orders for the payment of money, regardless of by whom or by what means the actual or purported facsimile signature or signatures thereon may have been affixed thereto, if such facsimile signature or signatures resemble the facsimile specimens 2, Res. No. 1880 from time to time filed with the United States National Bank by the City Clerk or other officer of the City of Huntington Beach; and FURTHER RESOLVED, that all previous authorizations for the signing and honoring of checks, drafts or other or- ders for the payment of money drawn on the said United States National Bank by the City of Huntington Beach are hereby con- tinued in full force and effect as amplified hereby.
