A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE USE OF FACSIMILE SIGNATURES.
RESOLVED, that the Bank of America, as a designated
depositary of the City of Huntington Beach be and it (in-
cluding its correspondent banks) is hereby requested, author-
ized and directed to honor all checks, drafts or other orders
for the payment of money drawn in the name of the City of
Huntington Beach on all its accounts (including those drawn
to the individual order of any person or persons whose names
appear thereon as signer or signers thereof) when bearing or
purporting to bear the facsimile signature(s) of any of the
following,

MAYOR

and the Bank of America (including its correspondent banks)
shall be entitled to honor and charge the City of Huntington
Beach for all such checks, drafts or other orders for the
payment of money, regardless of by whom or by what means
the actual or purported facsimile signature or signatures
thereon may have been affixed thereto, if such facsimile
signature or signatures resemble the facsimile specimens

from time to time filed with the Bank of America by the City
Clerk or other officer of the City of Huntington Beach; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all previous authorizations
for the signing and honoring of checks,_ drafts or other or..
ders for the payment of money drawn on the srA d Bank of Amer-
ica by the City of Huntington Beach are hereby continued in
full force and effect as amplified hereby.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 18th day of November , 1963.

I, PAUL C. JONES, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and
ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the
City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is five;
that the foregoing resolution was passed and adopted
by the affirmative vote of more than a majority of all
the members of said City Council at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 18th day of November , 1963,
