HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 1885 RESOLUTION No. 1885 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENT OF ED STANG AS WATER. SUPERINTENDENT AT A COMPEN- SATION GREATER THAN THE MINIMUM COMPENSATION FIXED AND DETERMINED BY ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the Water Department of the City of Huntington Beach is in need of additional personnel; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is to the best interest that such additional personnel be employed by the Water Department as Water Superintendent, at above the minimum compensation; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the educa- tional qualifications and experience of Ed Stang justifies a beginning salary in excess of said minimum compensation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby authorize the employment of Ed Stang as Water Superintendent at a beginning salary in excess of the minimum compensation as set forth by ordinance, to-wit: Range 479 Step C.
